The story of LU
I created LU for women who aren’t chasing perfection but seeking truth. For those who value movement — not just of the body, but of the mind, feelings, and their relationship with themselves.
LU is here for the moments when you feel strong, and also for the ones when you feel vulnerable, tired, and low on energy — but you show up anyway.
LU started as an idea. A need. A deep feeling that activewear can be more than just something nice to wear to the gym.
It was born from me — from all my highs and lows, doubts and decisions to keep growing, no matter what.

WORDS FROM THE FOUNDER
I'm Lana. A woman who creates, feels, grows.
Founder of LU, trainer, teacher, entrepreneur, and a type 1 diabetic.
And most of all — a human choosing to live consciously, day by day.
I’ve had type 1 diabetes since childhood.
This isn’t a story of heroism, but of responsibility. A reminder that there are no breaks. No days off from decisions, adjustments, constant check-ins.
I’ve never seen the disease as my identity — just a companion. A challenge that reminds me daily: health is never guaranteed. Every breath, every move, every choice matters.
My path wasn’t linear.
I’ve gone through phases of overeating, hiding, overtraining. I wanted to be perfect so I could feel “enough.” But the more I chased that, the more I lost — me.
My self-worth, confidence, and inner joy slowly faded. What remained was control. And silence.
It was in that empty space that the idea for LU was born.
First as a quiet wish. Then a need. And eventually a decision — to create something more, for myself and for other women.
LU didn’t begin as a business plan.
It was a path back to myself. To healing.
To slowly accepting who I am — in my strength and my softness.
Today, LU tells a story.
Mine — and maybe yours too.
I'm learning to put myself first without guilt.
To care for myself with gentleness.
And above all — that self-love isn’t a one-time event. It’s a choice we make every day.
